You might not know this but I co-run a map store with Muir Way and because I’m about to hit 500,000 subscribers on YouTube I have decided to hold a little give away! If you’re curious about the map store you can check it out here:

Anyways, here’s what you can win:
A $250 gift card to my map store. This should basically allow you to get almost anything you want (except for the really large maps)
An amazing geologic map of North America
A really cool map of mountain peaks in the United States
The two maps will come with a special geographic message from me on the back!
How to enter and contest details
Entering the contest is SUPER easy. There’s no purchase necessary whatsoever. All you need to do is:
Be a subscriber here to the Substack (it’s free obvs)
Leave a comment below with what country you think has the best geography
And that’s it!
The contest will end on September 3rd at 11:59pm Pacific Time. Any entries after that will be disallowed. So get them in sooner rather than later!
Winners will be randomly drawn and emailed via the email you signed up with here (so make sure it actually works!).
The first winner selected will have the option of picking any of the three. The second will have the option of the last two. The third will take whatever remains.
Winners will have 48 hours to respond. If they haven’t responded within that time period, a new winner will be selected and I’ll move on to the other two. So, for example, if the first selected winner doesn’t respond within 48 hours, the second selected winner will have their choice of all three and a new winner will be selected to take the third spot.
Rules
There are a few basic rules here:
Only one entry per person. If anyone is suspected of cheating they will be disqualified.
Leave only a single comment. Multiple comments will be construed as attempts at getting multiple entries. Replies to others comments are fine and won’t be counted as an entry.
Be cool! If I see any sort of negative comments because you don’t like someones opinion, you’ll be disqualified.
And that’s it.
A note on shipping
We can ship our paper prints basically everywhere, but anything canvas or framed is only in the United States. So keep that in mind. You can read more here.
Additionally, for the winners of the two signed prints. I will try and ship that to you, but it might not be possible everywhere. In which case, we’ll work out someway to get you the print through the normal shipping process and I’ll send you a lovely postcard instead of getting the map signed.
