And this is my Substack.

If you don’t know me, my name is Geoff Gibson and I run a YouTube channel called Geography By Geoff. It’s something I’ve been doing since January of 2022 and has since grown to the point where it’s kind of all I do. Well, that’s not true. I run this Substack newsletter of course. This Substack though, is just for what I love most in the world: geography and my inane, oddball, and sometimes accurate takes on the world. If that sounds like you’re kind of thing, then I’m happy to have you join me. But be warned, you may not always agree with what I write about. That’s okay with me, if it’s okay with you. But just to give you an idea of what kind of takes I’ll have. I believe:

1. The world is an amazing place with a vast array of amazing cultures that each deserve respect and admiration

2. That everyone has a basic right to human decency and that there’s no such thing as an illegal human being, regardless of the context

3. That government services are important to maintain institutions that otherwise have no pure economic value, but are rich in geography

I am unapologetically progressive and sometimes that shows through my writings. This is your only warning.
