The "big earthquake" was always thought to be the San Andreas faultline earthquake in California that's supposed to hit sometime in the future. However, in recent years, the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the coast of Northern California, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia will unleash an earthquake unlike anything we've ever experienced in the United States. And when it does hit, the Pacific Northwest will be hit hard!
